Future perfect continuous tense

Today we will explain a tense of tenses that point to the future in English which is the perfect continuous future tense . In this lesson we will review this tense in full and detailed method  in term of usage and composition method in different cases.

First of all, we need to know the uses of the future perfect continuous tense.

Uses of the Future perfect continuous tense

  1. We use this tense to indicate a tense that lasts a certain tense in the future .
  2. It also is used to indicate events or actions that will occur at the time between now and another point in the future, the Two time are not expired .
  3. It is used to talk  about the cause of an event or act in the future .

And so we know this tense in terms of usage, and now we will know how to form it .

How to form the Future perfect continuous tense in its three cases ( Affirmation – negative – question)

Affirmation
Subject + will + have been + verb + ing -Sami will have been reading the poem.
-Hala will have been meeting her best friend.
-They will have been visiting their cousin.
Negative
Subject + won't + have been + verb + ing -Samar won't have been staying in this home.
-My friends won't have been training for the university party.
-My father won't have been practicing sport for three years by next week.
Questioning
Will + subject + have been + verb + ing ? -Will you have been watching the hokey game?
-Will Salma have been going to the beauty salon?
-Will they have been attending the meeting?

As in the rest of future tenses, there is another formula that can be used to express this tense and we know this:

Affirmation:

Subject + is / are + going to + have been + verb + ing

For example :

  • My parents are going have been staying here till the next month .

Negative:

Subject + is/ are + not + have been + verb + ing

For example:

  • Sandy is not  going to have been studying for the university's ability exam.

Questioning:

Are /is + subject + going to + have been + verb + ing ?

    For example:

    • Is your daughter going to have been traveling to Italy next weekend ?
